FAQ

Wishes Fulfilled

You’re getting married on August 8th? Of this year?

Yes. August 8th, 2009.

What’s with the shotgun wedding?

Nothing. We figured that there was no point in waiting, and August 8th is a good date!

Why aren’t you having a real wedding?

We thought we’d just keep it simple. When we started to think through the details of planning a wedding, it became clear to us that the only thing we cared about was the opportunity to see and celebrate with our friends. So, we decided to skip the all the formalities and to just invite you to a simple, private dinner to celebrate our friendship and to thank you for being in our lives. We hope you can make it!

Where are you registered?

We’re not registered. Please, no gifts. We don’t need anything. We just want you to come and to have a good time.

Are you really only sending out electronic invitations?

Yes. Don’t hate. Can’t deny that it’s efficient!

How do I RSVP?

You can RSVP by clicking on the link in the invitation we sent you via email. Or, just send us an email.

We've got kids.

You and all your beautiful babies are welcome. However, please do drop us an email to let us know, and tell us if you require anything special. We wouldn’t have any idea where to begin.

When I get to the restaurant, where can I park?

There should be plenty of street parking around the neighborhood. There's also a parking lot down the street on the corner of 4th and Brannan.

I’m flying in from elsewhere. Where should I stay?

Feel free to contact us for assistance with accommodations. Downtown hotels would be closest to the restaurant, but San Francisco is a beautiful city with plenty of incredible neighborhoods to explore.

How come there aren't any pictures of you guys on this site?

We're private people and the Internet is such a public place.
Here are some Miko pics to entertain you though.

Who's the kickass web designer?

Why, Li, of course!
Stylistic input by Judy. ; )
